May 2026 – Media Buying Tool ready for the 2026 General 🎉

Just in time to help you plan for the rest of the cycle

We are excited to announce that Version 1.0 of the Media Buying Tool is now live, and ready for you to utilize for the rest of the cycle!

When the Beta version launched last September, we felt it deserved a “promising but needs more work” review. The foundation was there – Digital GRPs, a Unified Gross Rating Point framework for comparing Linear, Streaming, and Digital efficiency, and early integrated planning capabilities – however, it still needed some refinement before it could support real-world paid media planning at scale.

Over the last eight months, we’ve worked closely with partners, buyers, and consultants to improve the platform, and we believe that Version 1.0 delivers on the promise of the original Beta.

Watch this video for a quick breakdown of highlights in the new tool.

If you prefer the written word – some, but not all, of the improvements in Version 1.0 include:

Build Integrated Media Campaigns with relative ease, hooray!
  • Refined budget controls, including:
      • “Custom Frequency Mode”: Choose different Frequency / GRPs for each individual medium or ad platform in your campaign
      • “Budget Setter Mode”: Input budgets for mediums and platforms and work backwards to Frequency / GRPs
  • Greater customization and planning flexibility
    • Build programs that incorporate non-video media including display, banners, Digital radio, and texting
    • GRP and CPM projection overrides so you can align the tool’s projections to actuals from your buyers
    • ”Instance Settings” Control Panel that allows you to customize your version of the tool with your logo and brand scheme, revise media fees, override projected prices and market share across all of your campaigns, and much more.

If you’d like a demonstration of the new tool, please reach out to us at Hello@MediaBuyingTool.com and we’ll reply to schedule!

Hilary “Vanna White” Borris is standing by to give the dime tour!

We have one more round of improvements planned, set for release by July, which will allow the user to take campaign budgets and planning data from the tool and convert them into week-by-week executable media programs.

Thanks again to everyone who provided feedback throughout the Beta process. We hope the updated Media Buying Tool helps campaigns and committees build more efficient media programs – and of course, win more up and down the ballot in 2026 and beyond.
